Dynamic mechanical test: thousands of hammers, high rebound

Qingfeng EM elastic material (flexible resin) is used in the manufacture of pillows, cushions, protective gear, shoe parts, industrial cushioning and other applications.

These applications must have good elastic cushioning, ie resilience.

For example, in shoes, the soles with good resilience can protect the soles and knees well and avoid excessive fatigue when walking.

Qingfeng has mass-produced mature applications such as dragon scale midsole and slippers with EM 3D printing elastic materials. They have all passed the dynamic mechanical test and have excellent resilience.

Test results show that Qingfeng's EM⁺23 elastic material has a rebound performance of up to 35%.
Tensile test: ultimate pull, high strength

In addition, Qingfeng also conducted an "extreme" pull test on the EM flexible resin.

According to ASTM, ISO and other industry standards, EM⁺23 is tested for tensile, tear, compression and other mechanical properties of materials, and the elastic modulus, tensile strength, yield strength, elongation at break and stress-strain curve of the material are tested.

The performance of EM⁺23 flexible resin is also quite strong, the tensile strength is 21.59MPa, and the elongation at break is 560%, while the common light-cured elastic materials are 15MPa and 250%, which shows that EM⁺23 has better mechanical properties, More resistant to stretching, tearing, etc.
Wear test: violent rubbing, high wear resistance

For many commercialized products, there are not only requirements for bullets, but also wear resistance, tear resistance, and bending resistance are also indicators for testing whether the product is qualified. Especially in the application of shoe parts, due to the long-term contact and friction with feet and ground, there may be no low requirements for wear resistance.

Qingfeng chose to use the Taber abrasion tester to conduct multiple abrasion resistance tests on EM elastic materials (flexible resins), and use high-strength rollers to "crazy" EM materials.

The results show that the wear resistance of the EM light-cured elastic material is 70.84 mm³. According to GB/T 5478-2008 "Plastic Rolling Wear Test Method" and GB/T 1689 "Determination of Wear Resistance of Vulcanized Rubber" issued by the state, The EM elastic material has reached the abrasion resistance rating of high-end soles.
DMA test: Freeze test, low temperature resistance

DMA (Dynamic Mechanical Analysis) dynamic thermo-mechanical analysis is to measure the relationship between the mechanical properties of viscoelastic materials and time, temperature or frequency, and is an indispensable part of professional testing. After all, when footwear products are produced, not only good resilience and wear resistance are required, but they also need to not break when used at low temperatures.

The glass transition temperature Tg of EM⁺23 elastic material is -17.98℃, which is lower than the Tg of common light-curing elastic materials by -10℃, which further indicates that Qingfeng EM material has better low temperature resistance.
Impact test: Notched strong impact, high toughness

For the tough material TM79, Qingfeng conducted a notch impact test on it.

The material is placed on a professional instrument and subjected to high-speed impact force to test the impact strength of the material under impact load. It reflects the ability of different materials to resist damage caused by high-speed impact, and is also an important performance indicator in engineering applications.

After testing, the impact strength of TM79 is 4.17 KJ/㎡, reaching the impact strength of nylon, showing excellent toughness, meeting the needs of industrial applications, suitable for the manufacture of fixtures, electrical enclosures, auto parts, medical protective gear, etc. impact strength application.
